BM-4 Gold Silver Alloy Upgrade Cable

BM-4 is the top-of-the-line model from Braid Magic, incorporating 8 Gold Silver alloy cables. It is cryogenic treated to enhance the electrical conductivity and the conductors are also enamel coated to prevent oxidation. BM-4 utilize Type-4 Litz construction to further reduce skin effect and proximity effect for better signal conduction. Hence providing a more accurate sound reproduction. The cable uses the well-regarded PE (polyethylene) cable insulation which takes the shielding performance to the next level, providing a clean sound signature and a dark background.

Adding a bit of gold into silver cable would make the bass deeper and richer when compared to pure silver cables, which they usually lack, while preserving the clarity and response of pure silver cables. On top of that, cables that contain gold have a special ‘creamy’ and smooth feel to it, which is not achievable with any copper or silver materials.

Furthermore, the BM-4 comes with Furutech Rhodium plated plugs as standard, which is also cryogenically treated hence has a superior electrical conductivity than conventional brass counterparts. 

Sound signature of BM-4 is tuned with the usual philosophy from Braid Magic: Warm and full overall sound with transparent, rich vocals. The BM-4 has bright yet smooth mids and highs, and also has punchy low ends. Definitely an all-rounder for most pop and even classical music genres.
